Pest Control — 8 Comments
Maybe two or three years ago we started to have bugs invade our basement. They are small bodied, with yellow spots on their body, long legs and feelers. When trying to catch/kill them they jump to escape. I have bought over the counter spray and it seems to do the job in destroying them but not for long. Some do escape and make their way to the first landing. They seem to like darkness vs. light. Finally they last about two months before going away.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced them and if so how they got rid of them.
Not too long ago, we had the exact same problem. We had a couple of guys come over and they put some sticky paper down in various parts of our basement. We don’t really see them anymore. I’ll see if I can get you the name of the company that came over.
Victor, according to Bill, we did not pay for the exterminator. We contacted someone on the board, who contact the exterminator. Bill doesn’t understand why you thought the board doesn’t pay for this service anymore.
I was told by Stephan that TB no longer had a contract and that if I needed Pest Control I would have to contact them directly and pay out of pocket. I called the pest control people and they told me the same. So I am confused at this point.
I followed up with the Board and they stated that the contract we have is for outside not inside. I have left a message for Heritage to see if they will approve spraying around the foundation of my home to address my Pest Control issue. Thanks for your feedback.
Victor,
Bill said to call Ed at Royal Flush Pest Control at 528-5455. We did not pay, so maybe we no longer have a contract with them, but they definitely came over and put out traps all over our basement. Maybe give them a call.

Those were really some strange critters!
For me the bugs appear every year just before June and hang around until mid July. Can’t figure out how they are getting into the house..
Today I found a huge one, but at least it was outside in my recycle bin. I mean it was HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
