My painting, And The Flag Was Still There, has been proudly hanging since 2009 over the entrance of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, New York, and has been greeting students, teachers, and visitors every morning ever since. I made it out of newspaper. The strips are painted in red and white. The white paint is also the glue that flattens the paper strips, which hold the paper in place (click on video to play).
